We're bringing together a community of neurodiverse people and their families for an unforgettable event!

Join us for the Neurodiverse Culture Festival on Saturday, September 30th. We'll have food trucks, activities for all ages, and so much more! Let's get together and celebrate what makes us unique.

Art by My Asylum

Art Tent

See and purchase the art of  Emily Szalkowski of MyAsylum. Her vibrant, whimsical, mythically-themed art comes to life in pen, ink, and paint. She is on the Autistic spectrum and is vocal about her strengths and struggles. Emily has appeared on New Day Cleveland and PBS American Portrait.

Backyard Games

Play giant inflatable bowling, corn hole, giant jenga and giant ring toss courtesy of the Cuyahoga Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Owls: Hunters of the Night

Tent B

Get up-close with live Ohio owls during this indoor presentation by Cleveland Metroparks. Observe and examine the amazing adaptations that allow these majestic animals to thrive in the nocturnal landscape.

Wandering Royals

Booths

Wandering Royals is a small woman-owned business from Akron, Ohio, providing Princess and Hero Parties! We do community outreach, private birthday parties, or any event where performers are needed! At Wandering Royals, we volunteer our time to organizations who promote causes we feel strongly about. We wanted to have a booth for the Neurodiverse Culture Festival as we believe that our community should be more accessible for everyone!  We are proud to ally with the Neurodivergse Festival and bring a little magic to our Community! Get ready for the BEST DAY EVER!

Trained Guide Dogs

Meet and greet with dogs from Guiding Eyes for the Blind and learn about the essential role they play in their humans' lives.

Drum Circle

Outside

Express yourself through music by jamming familiar songs with friendly people. No musical experience is required and instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own! The Cleveland Music Therapy Company helps people of all abilities and needs improve their lives and reach their goals through a wide variety of music making experiences.

Medical Marijuana Discussion

Dr. Daniel Neides and Dr. Jessica Hutchins will discuss the history of cannabis, therapeutic benefits, qualifying conditions, and answers to any questions you have.

Resin Art

Art Tent

Resin is the art of mixing chemicals and color to make a design and form it into a shape. People have been doing this for centuries with natural resources like tree sap to make amber jewelry. We will make some basic keychains to show you the process of using resin and UV light.

Sock Derby

Booths

Join us for a round of Sock Derby with Burning River Roller Derby! BRRD is the premier skater-run, flat-track roller derby league in Cleveland. Founded in 2006, they are a diverse group of skaters, referees, officials, stats keepers, and volunteers with a passion for the sport. They are a proud member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association and are committed to their motto of “Real. Strong. Athletic. Revolutionary."

Explore a simulated temperate forest habitat inside a 38-foot  mobile outreach vehicle from the Cleveland Metroparks.

Drag Show

Pavilion

Many neurodivergent individuals are drawn to the art of drag: an outside-the-box form of creative expression. This show exists to highlight the talent in our community and defeat the stereotypes that only able-bodied, neurotypical people can do drag.
